A couple of weeks back I got an iPhone. Yes, ok, a year after everyone else in the world but new to me.
So anyway how’s it been?
Glad you asked. I like it. I like it very much. More than I thought I would. Not unconditionally but on balance I love it.
First of all I love the interface. Typing is a little slow. But I’m getting faster everyday. And here’s a tip: if the app allows it, turn the iPhone to landscape and the wider keyboard makes typing easier. I am typing this with both thumbs and getting some speed!
I’m less happy with the iTunes store. It irks me that I can’t browse through a brwser (because I’m on Linux) so have to boot vista if I want to do that. Fortunately the App store on the phone is pretty good so I mainly find apps thru the phone
And so far there are free apps for everything I need: mail, calendar integration with work, and an app for all my socnets. And now for wordpress, so no excuse for not blogging!
